iPhone + FlashcardExchange how to?
Hi, guys.
Maybe I'm just missing something, but how exactly do I use Mental Case for the iPhone and Flashcard Exchange together? Basically, I'd like to know how to get a set of flashcards from Flashcard Exchange to load onto my phone for viewing.
I'm sure there's a how-to somewhere, but I've yet to find it.

Firstly, you need to have the paid version of Mental Case to download to the iPhone. It costs $5 at the moment.
Once you have that version, you go to the 'Exchange' tab. You can then go into Categories, or Search, and find card sets on FCE. When you find one, scroll down to the bottom and hit the 'Download' button. It should then appear in your Cases when it is finished.
To download your own cards, you have to make them 'Public' on the FCE web site. Then you enter your user email in Account Settings, and can download in 'My Notes'.

Thanks for the quick reply. It is really appreciated.
I'm still having trouble.... After I download a card set from FE, it does not appear in the case list. If I exit MC and then go back in, the card set is shown as "on server" again. Also, and this may be unrelated, if I click on the plus sign to add a new case, it asks me for a name, and when I enter one and click add, it crashes me back to my home screen. At this point the Cases list remains empty.
Any ideas? Thanks!

Sounds like a corrupted data file. I recommend deleting the app from the iPhone, and reinstalling from the App Store. It's free to reinstall.
