Mental Case for Mac OS X (v1.5b2)

This is the second beta release of Mental Case 1.5, and is feature complete. Only help pages need updating. You can download the beta here.

Since the first beta, a number of changes have been made:

- Preferences for slide shows have been refactored.
- It is now possible to have the slide show advance as soon as you press the right/wrong button (see preferences).
- You can now select a case collection and view the notes it contains.
- You can drag cases out of the case list to the desktop to create a mental case archive.
- You can drag archives straight into the case list to import them.
- Export slides in HTML format
- Import in tab-separated values (TSV) format
- Any extra columns in a CSV/TSV import are now all included in the content of the note
- There is an 'edit' button in the slide show toolbar. It takes you straight to the note to edit.
- When you get a note wrong, it is added at several points in the slideshow, not just at the end.
- Positions of note editing split views are now stored between restarts
- You can start slideshows in the paused state
- You can set the opacity of the background in slideshows
- Many bug fixes

We will probably make the final release within a few days. In the meantime, we want to particularly test the slideshows in this beta.

Please report problems to bugs@mentalcase.maccoremac.com

Few things

-I am able to only advance when I click on the 'incorrect' button and not from the 'correct' button.
-Although I do like the insertion of the incorrect slides in the slideshow at different points it seems to be less 'randomized placement'. In other words, my incorrect slides are all falling in line, one after another.
-The edit function is a great addition because by the time I get through my slides I forget to edit mistakes. It would be nice to have the correction show up in the slide show after they have been made though without having to start a completely new slideshow.

Other than those....I like the changes.

Re: Few Things

Thanks Green. Theses are all issues we will address.
